          T.J. Bohn has Major League experience with the Seattle Mariners and          

          the Philadelphia Phillies culminating with a World Series ring in 2008.

        Brenden was drafted out of Ball State U. in June 2009 and spent this past summer in            

        the New York-Penn League.  Follow this right handed pitcher as he

  Outfielder T.J. Bohn Signs Deal With Chicago White Sox

        MK Sports and Entertainment LLC is pleased to announce client T.J. Bohn has signed a        

        Minor League contract with the Chicago White Sox.  T.J. looks forward to attending training

        camp in Glendale, AZ in the spring.


  T.J. Bohn Named to Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ 15th Anniversary Team

        In celebration of the Timber Rattlers’ 15th Anniversary, fans recently voted for the best player

         at each position in franchise history.  T.J. was named the best rightfielder to have ever

         played for the team and attained a higher percentage (83%) of the fan vote than

         any other player. He played for the Midwest League affiliate in 2003 and batted .272 with 31

         doubles, 13 HR, 70 RBI, 16 SB, and had an impressive 20 outfield assists.

      T.J. will be patrolling the outfield for the Explorers starting in early May as he works his way

MK Sports and Entertainment LLC Signs White Sox Infielder Rob Hudson

      Rob Hudson is currently playing at the AAA level for the Charlotte Knights of the International

      League.  Through 35 at bats this season, Rob is leading the team with a .343 batting average and

      a .629 slugging percentage.  Follow Rob’s success at

       Rob is a University of Texas graduate and was a member of the 2005 National Championship team.

  Brenden Stines Promoted to Lexington (KY) Legends of South Atlantic League

     In his first outing with Lexington, Brenden pitched 2.2 scoreless innings tonight.  Congrats

      Sharpshooter Ashlee Trebilcock (Ohio State, 2009) has signed with MK Sports and

    MK Sports and Entertainment LLC Client Ashlee Trebilcock Accepts Coaching Job

      Former Buckeye guard and current MK Sports and Entertainment LLC client, Ashlee Trebilcock,

       accepts Assistant Coach position with Denison University of Granville, OH.  Looking forward

       to having Ashlee so close to Columbus!  She will be a tremendous addition to the Denison staff.


    Major League Baseball Veteran Mike Difelice Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

        Mike Difelice played catcher for 13 seasons in MLB with 7 different clubs before retiring after

        the 2008 season with the World Series runner-up Tampa Bay Rays.  Mike managed the        

        Kingston Mets (Rookie level) in 2009 and 2010, and looks forward to returning to the coaching

        ranks for the 2011 season.  It’s great to have a veteran like Mike on board!


    Former Univ. of Texas P/OF Bryan Herrera is Newest Client

      Bryan won a National Championship with Texas in 2005 and a Dutch league championship in  

      2009.  Bryan will try to bring his winning ways back to the States this spring.


     Denison Women’s Basketball Team goes Undefeated for Season

       Assistant Coach Ashlee Trebilcock leads team to 28-0 record as the Big Red

       becomes the first team in conference history to go undefeated!  Denison is now ranked #9

       and the NCAA Tourney begins this week.   



      Former Winthrop Standout Antwon Harris Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

        Antwon was a key member of the Winthrop Univ. Eagles during their runs to the NCAA    

         Tourney in recent years.  Look for Antwon on an overseas roster soon...


     Kara Murphy of the University of Akron Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

        Kara is the all-time leading scorer at Akron.  She is a 5’10 forward who can shoot from

        the outside, drive to the basket, and bang with the bigs for a rebound below the basket.         

        Kara will take her game overseas this fall to showcase her abilities.

        Robby Hudson was traded to the Philadelphia Philies recently and has started the

        season with their AAA affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs.

        TJ Bohn has resigned with Sioux City of the American Association and reports to camp

        this weekend.  Jay Broughton and Bryan Herrera have signed with Na Koa Ikaika Maui

        of the North American Baseball League and arrive in Hawaii next week for camp.


    Butler U. Basketball Star Vanzant Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

        After back to back National Championship appearances, guard Shawn Vanzant looks to

        take his intensity and skills overseas to continue his winning ways.


   2nd Butler Basketball Star Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC within a Week!

        The leading scorer for the Butler women’s program, Brittany Bowen, became a client of

        MK Sports and Entertainment LLC this week.  She averaged 16 points/game and shoots

        long-range right-handed and short-range with her left!  She will be hard to defend



    Robby Hudson Signs Minor League Free Agent Contract with San Diego Padres

        After Robby was granted his release this week by the Philadelphia Phillies, he was

        quickly picked up by the San Diego Padres and will report to their AAA affiliate in



    Jay Broughton Named North American League Pitcher of the Week

        Maui pitcher Jay Broughton threw thirteen innings last week and gave up only 2 earned

        runs, finishing the week 1-0 with a 1.39 ERA.  Keep up the good work Jay!

        Kara Murphy will begin play next week with the Umea Comets of the Damligan,

        Sweden’s top professional basketball league, as the club tries to reach the playoffs in 2012.


    Brittany Bowen Named to Danish All-Star Team, Wins 3 Point Contest

      Brittany, the leading scorer for the top league in Denmark, played in yesterday’s All Star game

      and won the 3 point contest against the three other top shooters in the league.  Congrats Bri!


    Carmen Reynolds of University of Michigan Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

      Carmen is a versatile 6 foot guard/forward and is the all time Michigan 3 point shooter. 

       Look for Carmen to take her sharp shooting overseas in Fall 2012!


   UNLV Infielder Richie Jimenez Becomes Newest Baseball Client

     Richie was Team Captain last season as the team’s starting shortstop.  He is an undrafted free

      agent and will likely sign with an independent league club in the coming weeks as he begins

      working his way to affiliated baseball.


    Richie Jimenez Signs with Gateway Grizzlies of Frontier Baseball League

      Richie will begin his professional career as an infielder for the Gateway Grizzlies (near

       St. Louis, MO).  If you live in the Midwest try and catch a game when Richie is in town!


  Former Buckeye Guard Shavelle Little Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

    Two time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Shavelle Little has signed with MK Sports

     and Entertainment LLC and will embark on her professional basketball career this fall.

     Shavelle is lightning quick, can play all three guard positions, and can take over a game.

    University of Michigan’s Courtney Boylan Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

      Courtney is a great leader, can drive to the basket, create for others, and shoot the three.

      U of M’s starting point guard will continue her strong play this fall overseas.


    Courtney Boylan Becomes Assistant Coach at Northern Kentucky University

       Congratulations to former Michigan Wolverine Courtney Boylan for accepting a coaching

       position with the women’s basketball team at NKU. Looking forward to seeing Courtney

    Jordan Liette Signs with Rockford Riverhawks and Pitches Well on Day One

      Jordan signed today with the Frontier League’s Rockford Riverhawks and pitched 5 and

      1/3 scoreless innings a few hours later! Great first impression, Jordan.  Keep it up!


    1st Team All Big Ten Second Baseman Eric Charles Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

      Former Purdue player and current San Diego Padre signee Eric Charles debuts this week in the

       Northwest League for the Eugene (OR) Emeralds. Eric was a 29th round pick in last week’s MLB draft.


    All Time Leading Scorer at Missouri Western State Becomes Newest Client

     Jessica Koch scored 1,776 points and was an NCAA2 Second Team All American this past

      season after averaging 22 points/game (4th best in the Nation). Jessica plans to go overseas

      this fall to score more points!


    All American Goose Kallunki Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

      Goose was a First Team All American at Utah Valley University and a 27th round pick of the San Diego

       Padres. He is currently hitting the ball hard for the Eugene Emeralds in the Northwest League.

    Carmen Reynolds Signs with CAB Madeira of Portuguese League

       Carmen leaves for the sub-tropical island of Madeira in mid-September to showcase her versatility

      Richie is hitting .385 through the first four games of the Frontier League Playoffs.  Keep up

    MK Sports and Entertainment LLC Signs Jessica Jenkins This Week

     Naismith National Player of the Year Finalist and star of of St. Bonaventure’s Sweet Sixteen

      Team, Jessica Jenkins, is now a client.  Jessica made 110 3-pointers last season!



   Jessica Jenkins Signs with Keflavik Club of Iceland

      Jessica will leave next week to embark on her first season of professional basketball

      after her storied career at St. Bonaventure.  Exciting times ahead for the 3-point



   Shawn Vanzant Drafted in 4th Round of the NBA D-League Draft

     Shawn was picked 62nd overall by the Springfield Armor of the D League and will head

     to camp on November 8th.  Springfield plays their first game in Canton on Nov. 24th.


   Jessica Koch Heads to Australia for CABL Season

      Jessica will be playing for the Woodville Club (near Adelaide, Australia) in the CABL. 

      First game is in early April so check for Jessica’s stats!


   Basketball Update

    Carmen Reynolds (CAB Madeira, Portugal) finished her season this week as the 3rd

     leading scorer in the league at 19.9 points/game!  Jessica Jenkins (Keflavik, Iceland) will be 

    playing in the League Championship next week.  Jessica is 8th in the league in scoring at 17.5

    points/game and her team is a phenomenal 22-4 on the season.


    Ohio State Team Captain Amber Stokes Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

     Amber Stokes was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2011-12 and was a Big

      Ten All-Defensive Team selection this year.  She is a tremendous athlete and has quite

      a highlight film from her days as a Buckeye to prove it!


   Jessica Jenkins Leads Keflavik to Icelandic League Championship

     Jenkins was named the Finals MVP and picked up Eurobasket’s Guard of the Year

     Award for Iceland, in addition to being named to First Team and All Imports First

     Team.  Congrats to Jessica Jenkins for having a tremendous first season abroad.


    Amber Stokes Signs Contract with WNBA’s San Antonio Silver Stars

     Former Buckeye Amber Stokes will report to San Antonio today to begin her first

     training camp.  This is a big honor for Amber and rewards her for the years of hard

     work and effort she put forth on the court at Ohio State.  Congrats Amber!


    Alaina Walker of St. Bonaventure Joins the MK Sports and Entertainment LLC Client LIst

     Point guard Alaina Walker had a great career at St. Bonaventure and helped lead the

     team to the Sweet Sixteen last year.  She will head overseas this fall to continue playing.


    Horizon League Player of the Year Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

     Brandi Brown of Youngstown State averaged 20.1 points and 11.1 rebounds per game this

      past season (Top 18 in all of NCAA in both categories) and was named to a second Horizon

      League All Academic Team.  She will be taking her all around game overseas this fall!


    Ireland’s Jessica Scannell Looks to Return to Europe to Play Professionally

     New client Jessica Scannell grew up playing for Ireland’s National teams and played

     collegiately in the USA at Iona College and Pace University.  Now that she has

     finished school, the experienced guard looks to take her game overseas to compete

     on the professional level.


   Chantelle Pressley of Eastern Illinois U. Signs to Play in France

     Chantelle is a 6’1 forward who recently signed on as a client and within two weeks has

      signed to play in the French Nationale 1 Feminine League for Thouars Basket.  Good

      luck this season Chantelle!


    Eric Charles of the San Diego Padres Joins the Ft. Wayne Tin Caps Roster

      After playing with the AZ Padres the past month, Eric has climbed his way up to the Ft.

      Wayne Tin Caps roster and reported to the club today.  Welcome back to the Midwest,



    Mid-Season International Basketball Update

      Amber Stokes and Brandi Brown are dominating in Sweden!  Amber is leading the league in

      scoring and assists while teammate Brandi Brown is #1 in rebounding.  Carmen Reynolds is

      also doing well in Sweden, scoring over 14 points/game.  Emilee Harmon is holding her own

      in Ireland where she is scoring 20+ points/game.  Chantelle Pressley is averaging a double/

      double in the NF1 league of France.

      Shawn Vanzant is a major contributor to the Island Storm of the Canada NBL where he is

      averaging 10.5 points/game and shooting 43% from 3 point land!

  Harmon and Brown Named Eurobasket Players of the Week

     Emilee Harmon was named Eurobasket Player of the Week this past week in Ireland

     and Brandi Brown received the same honor for the second week in a row in Sweden!


   Basketball Update

     Amber Stokes won the scoring and assists title in Sweden, while teammate Brandi

     Brown led the league in rebounding.  After a successful season in Sweden, Carmen

     Reynolds has arrived in Adelaide, Australia and is averaging 16 pts through two

     games.  Jessica Koch signed with a 1st Division team in Finland and has helped

     them into the League Championship series.  Alaina Walker was also brought in to

     help Olivais Coimbra of Portugal make a run in the playoffs at the end of March. 

     Shawn Vanzant has helped his Prince Edward Island Storm make the Final 4 in

     Canada’s NBL.  Two more wins and they will be in the Finals next week. Chantelle Pressley

     is finishing the season strong in France as she tries to get her team into the playoffs.

     Emilee Harmon led her Montonette Hotel Club to a win in the Ireland National

     Championship today.  Congrats to all of the MK Sports and Entertainment LLC clients for your    

     success this season!


Summer (Australian Winter) Basketball Update

   Carmen Reynolds wrapped up her season in the CABL by finishing in the Top 5 in most offensive

    categories (20.4 ppg, 9.9 rebounds) for the Woodville Warriors.  Emilee Harmon won the coveted

    SEABL rebounding crown for Albury after pulling down 11.1 boards/game and finished second in

    the league in scoring at 19.9 ppg.  Brandi Brown is in the midst of a deep playoff run for the

    Ipswich Force of the QBL where she is averaging 18.4 ppg and 13.1 rebounds/game (2nd best in

    the league).  Cheers, ladies!

   Mid-Season Basketball Update

      Carmen Reynolds and Chantelle Pressley are keeping the Nottingham club (British

      League) at the top of the standings with an undefeated record. Both women are in the top

      5 in most offensive categories. Rena Wakama has put forth a strong showing in the same

      league for the Cardiff Archers, while teammate Jessica Jenkins has just begun her

      season after ankle surgery last summer. Amber Stokes is putting together a solid season

      for Oberhausen in Germany as well.  Karen Flagg continues to play well for Den Helder of

      the Netherlands.  Jess Scannell has her Cork, Ireland team in first place as well. On the men’s

      side, Shawn Vanzant is the starting PG for the Moncton Miracles of the Canadian NBL and is

      among the league leaders in assists, 3 PT %, and FT %. New clients Dominique Buckley

      (Windsor) and Adrian Moss (London) are significant contributors to their teams off the bench in

      the Canadian NBL as well.


  April Basketball Signings Update

    MK Sports and Entertainment LLC is happy to announce that Heidi Schlegel (Youngstown

     St.) has signed.  Heidi was a back to back Horizon League First Team honoree and

     averaged 18 points and 9 rebounds per game in 2014-15.  Merissa Quick (Emporia St.) has

     also joined the MK Sports team and was named an Honorable Mention NCAA2 All

     American this season after leading her team to the Final Four (12 points/7 rebounds per

     game).  She finished 4th in the nation in blocked shots.

     On the men’s side, Jauwan Scaife has left his coaching position to pursue an overseas

     playing career.  At Ball State U., Jauwan was 2nd team All MAC in 2013 and pursued a

     master’s degree while coaching at his alma mater.

  Overseas seasons winding down...

   Merissa Quick is 10th in the Portuguese League in scoring and 4th in rebounding. She

   will be headed to play in Australia for the Bundaberg Bears when her season in Portugal

   is over.  Heidi Schlegel is averaging 14.4 pts and 8 rebounds (4th in league) in Germany’s

   Bundesliga and is leading her BG Donau Ries club into the playoffs.  Cori Coleman also   

   is headed to the playoffs in Finland after averaging nearly 13 points and 6 rebounds per

   game for ViVe Club.  Amber Stokes continues her stellar play for undefeated Nottingham

   in the British Basketball League. 

   Malika Jackson and Emilee Harmon are already in Australia ready to start their

   respective seasons at the end of the month.

  And Shawn Vanzant....after dominating the Irish Premier League and being named All

   First Team last week, Shawn has signed with his old Canadian club, the Moncton

   Miracles, to finish out the season.


  NCAA2 National Player of the Year Signs with MK Sports and Entertainment LLC

   Kiana Johnson (Point Guard, Virginia Union/Michigan St) led the nation in scoring at 29.2 

   points per game, had 268 assists, and shot 40% from 3 pt range! She is excited to take

   her tremendous scoring and passing abilities to the professional level next season.


  Women’s Basketball Overseas Signings

   Kiana Johnson (FoA) and Akilah Sims (PeKa) are dominating in Finland, while Anita  

   Brown (Neftochemic/Bulgaria), Merissa Quick (Ferko Ilgaz/Turkey), and Erin McDonnell

   (Lemvig/Denmark) are also putting up big numbers for their overseas clubs.

    Malika Jackson has also signed to return to Australia in the Big V league (Chelsea club)

    where she was named to the Big V All Star 5 last season after leading the league in

    scoring.  Malika will head down under in February 2017.


  MK Sports & Entertainment LLC Announces 50th Pro Basketball Contract Negotiated by 

      Company Since 2010!

Emilee Harmon signs the 50th professional basketball contract since the company began

   representing basketball players in 2010.  Emilee will be returning to Australia for her 4th season,

   this time joining the Perth Redbacks of the SBL.  Emilee is an Ohio State grad and is a great

   representative of MK Sports & Entertainment both on and off the court. Congrats Emilee!


  Australia Basketball Update

   Malika Jackson is having another dominant year in the Big V league for 5 in

    scoring and rebounding.  Anita Brown is coming on strong to finish the SEABL season for the

    Nunawading Spectres as her averages are up to 17 points and 8 rebounds per game.  Emilee

    Harmon is turning in another quality season in her fourth year down under for the Perth

    Redbacks of the SBL. Also in the SBL, is Kersten Mitchell.  A player who was forced to give up

    her basketball career at the University of Illinois after suffering a third concussion four years

    ago. Now healthy and cleared to play, she is fulfilling her dream of playing professionally with

    the Cockburn Cougars and making the most of it...second in scoring and fourth in rebounding

    in the league!
